☎️ Our New Digital Phone System
We’ve officially upgraded from an analog phone system to a modern digital platform!
Our new phone system offers clearer call quality, improved reliability, and enhanced features that allow our team to better assist you with scheduling appointments, requesting prescription refills, and answering questions about your pet’s care.
As we continue learning all the capabilities of our new system, we appreciate your patience during the transition.

We’re proud to continue investing in advanced medical technology that allows us to diagnose illness faster and provide even better care.
Our diagnostic services include:
• Digital Radiography (Digital X-Rays)
• In-House Ultrasound Services
• Board-Certified Radiology Consultations
These tools help us provide quicker answers and develop the best treatment plans for your pets.
🚗 Making Your Visit Easier
To help appointments run as smoothly as possible, we’ve updated our arrival process.
✔ Park in one of our numbered parking spaces.
✔ Call us to let us know you’ve arrived.
✔ You’re welcome to wait inside with your pet or remain comfortably in your vehicle until an exam room is ready.
✔ Be sure to take advantage of our new dog waste stations located around the property to help keep our grounds clean for everyone.

Meet Leah, Veterinary Assistant
At Moreland Animal Hospital, our team is dedicated to treating every pet like family. This quarter, we’re excited to introduce one of our amazing Veterinary Assistants—Leah!
❤️ What inspired you to work in animal care?
“I was just a little girl growing up on a farm who loved animals. I’ve always had a passion for helping them, and being able to advocate for patients who can’t speak for themselves is incredibly rewarding.
What I love most about Moreland Animal Hospital is the family atmosphere. We work together as a team, support one another, and genuinely care about providing the best care possible for every pet that walks through our doors.”
🐾 Most Memorable Moment
“One of the most rewarding experiences is seeing a patient come in scared, sick, or injured and leave feeling better—with a wagging tail on the way out. I’ll never get tired of knowing I’ve made a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.”
🌄 Outside the Hospital
“When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our animals. You’ll usually find us relaxing on the porch with our pups. If we’re not at home, we’re likely at an off-road park or exploring the Tennessee mountains in our Polaris RZR with our best friends.”
🐢 Fun Fact
“Sea turtles have a special place in my heart! I love learning about conservation and following rescue and rehabilitation stories. It would be a dream to work with them someday!”

🐾 Moreland Pet of the Month
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature in The Moreland Pet Gazette!
Beginning next issue, we’ll spotlight a special adoptable pet from the Newnan Coweta Humane Society – Animal Shelter that is looking for a forever home.
By partnering with our local shelter, we hope to help more deserving pets find loving families while supporting the incredible work being done throughout our community.

☀️ Summer Pet Safety Tips
Georgia summers can be hard on our pets. Here are a few reminders to help keep your furry family members safe:
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water.
🌳 Exercise during the cooler morning or evening hours.
🔥 Protect paws from hot pavement.
🚗 Never leave pets unattended in a parked vehicle.
🦟 Keep flea, tick, and heartworm prevention up to date.
If your pet is showing signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke, contact us immediately.
