Labratory

Moreland Animal Hospital has in-house laboratory facilities that provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. Having this capability in house allows us to get test lab results in minutes, whether in an emergency or prior to surgery. Critical for evaluating the function of the liver, kidneys, red and white blood cells, and electrolyte balance; routine blood tests can catch potentially serious problems at a treatable stage. When necessary, we also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
